Womble Carlyle, East West Bank, Deloitte Tax LLP to Present Seminar on “Challenges in U.S.-China Cross Border Transactions”

ATLANTA—U.S. companies have been doing business in China for the last 30 years, and interest in the area continues to grow, particularly among small and mid-sized companies. Additionally, more Chinese companies are venturing into the U.S. market, and the pace of these trends is expected to continue and increase in the near future.  In addition to challenges presented by cultural and language differences, navigating an unfamiliar business environment in the other country is equally, if not more, challenging.
On August 2, 2013, banking, tax and legal professionals from East West Bank, Deloitte Tax LLP, and Womble Carlyle will discuss some of the operational challenges that Chinese and U.S. companies will face when doing business in the other country and will provide practical advice in dealing with these challenges. Womble Carlyle attorney Guanming Fang will be among the speakers.

This half-day event is also a great opportunity for networking with the business community that has an interest in doing business between the U.S. and China. The event takes place from 7:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at Womble Carlyle’s Atlanta office.

The event is free, but registration is required. Click here to register.
